Walking in the Dordogne
The area surrounding our properties is perfect for walking, from a gentle stroll to a more strenuous full day's hike.
In the gites, you can find a collection of the local 1:25000 Blue Series IGN maps covering Les Eyzies and Sarlat which are situated in both the stunning Dordogne and Vezere Valleys, and more locally around Bergerac, Eymet, Saussignac, Sainte Foy La Grande and Duras. There is also a Walking in the Dordogne guidebook which details 30 walks in the area.
We will also be happy to drive you to places where you will be able to walk back in your own time. A cooler bag and ice packs are all provided in the gites.
